| To Connect Straws:
The small end goes into the large end. Using your finger, press down the small end. |

| Pinch the sides together. |

| Gently push the small end into the large end (until the bend meets the other straw). You can also cut a lengthwise slit through the small end of one straw, then squeeze the cut end and push it inside the large end of the second straw. |

| Tetrahedron (Pyramid) – 12 straws
Connect 3 straws (total of 4 triangles). |

| Bend each straw to a 60-degree angle. |
 |
| Connect the 1st and last straws. |
 |
| Tape on each end of the sides keeping 3 triangles to each point – 12 pieces of tape used. |

| Hexahedron (Cube) – 24 straws
Connect 4 straws (total of 6 squares). Bend each straw to a 90-degree angle. Connect the 1st and last straws. |

| Tape on each end of the sides keeping 3 squares to each point – 16 pieces of tape used. |
 |
| Octahedron – 24 straws
Connect 3 straws (total of 8 triangles). Bend each straw to a 60-degree angle. Connect the 1st and last straws. Tape on each end of the sides keeping 4 triangles to each point – 8 pieces of tape used. You will have two of the shape pictured. |

| Tape the matching sides together. |

| Dodecahedron – 60 straws
Connect 5 straws (total of 12 pentagons). Bend each straw to a 72-degree angle. Connect the 1st and last straws. |

| Icosahedron – 60 straws
Connect 3 straws (total of 20 sets). Bend each straw to a 60-degree angle. Connect the 1st and last straws. Tape on each end of the sides keeping 5 triangles to each point – 10 pieces of tape used. You will have two of the shape pictured. |

| On each of the sides, tape another triangle – 10 pieces of tape used. You will have two of the shape pictured. |

| Interlace the two shapes and tape the matching sides – 20 pieces of tape used. |
