The small end goes into the large end. Using your finger, press down the small end. |

| Pinch the sides together. |

| Gently push the small end into the large end (until the bend meets the other straw). You can also cut a lengthwise slit through the small end of one straw, then squeeze the cut end and push it inside the large end of the second straw. |
