GENERAL
INSTRUCTIONS FOR TESSELMANIA!
Download
the TesselMania! program. Decompress with freeware
ZipCentral.
Recent versions of Windows will do this for you automatically.
Install the TesselMania!
program by accessing the decompressed program file setup.exe in
the usual way. Drag the program icon (in the directory C:\MECC\TESSMANIA)
to your desktop. Running the program will require a video mode set
to 256 colours.
To run TesselMania!
in operating systems older than Windows XP:
-
double click on the
My
Computer icon, the Control Panel icon, and the Display
icon
-
select Settings
in the upper right corner
-
take note of the current
Colors,
then change to 256 Colors
-
select OK to
make the changes take effect, then close all boxes
-
double click on the
TesselMania!
desktop icon to run the program
-
personalize your copy
of the program (first use only)
-
when done with the software,
return to your original monitor settings
To run TesselMania!
in Windows XP and other recent versions of Windows:
-
right-click on the TesselMania!
desktop icon
-
click Properties,
then click the Compatibility tab
-
under the Display
options, click to select the Run in 256 Colors check box
-
click OK to make
the changes take effect (permanent for TesselMania! program
only)
-
double click on the
TesselMania!
desktop icon to run the program
-
personalize your copy
of the program (first use only)

above, then open any one of the 20 decompressed files with the TesselMania!
