To celebrate 110 years since Sam Loyd  received
a patent this "Commemorative Edition"
has been created so that everyone can
once again enjoy his puzzle.

Using original artwork this puzzle
is an exact working replica of the one created in
1896 by Sam Loyd. The disk turns around the globe just
like it did in 1896 and the Warriors
are in the same positions.

Printed on and around the globe are
 Warriors fighting with swords.
When the arrow points NE,
there are  thirteen Warriors.
When the arrow points NW,
there are only twelve Warriors.
How can a man, or even a mechanically
reproduced picture of a man, disappear?
Study their faces, postures and swords.
 Can you tell which one has vanished?
